The admission process was conducted in online mode. The notification has been released on the College website and anyone interested can fill up the form. The eligibility criteria were that one has to have math as a compulsory subject in the higher secondary curriculum and there was no reservation nor any entrance exam to enroll in the course. The merit list was declared by evaluating the 10th, and 12th results, and based on that one can get admission to the College. A few numbers on the merit list are declared. The application fee was Rs.300. You can find all the release dates on the notice tab of the College Website.

If anyone is interested in computers on the application and development side then it is the ideal course for them as it was for me and if any have financial constraints then it is also feasible. The College has great faculty members all properly qualified. All the classes are long enough to understand the concepts the teachers are very friendly and helpful. There are 5 teachers in the BCA department only and one teacher teaches a maximum of two subjects in a semester. The classes are properly organized. Teachers focus more on basic concepts and practically explain them more. There are almost 6 months of gap between term exams most of the time it s 5 months approx. and class tests are also organized by teachers often to check the progress of the students.

After the fifth(5th) semester students are eligible for campus placements. Every year many companies visit the campus from MNCs like TCS, Wipro, and Mindtree, to small startups like Swadesh technologies, and Fintech limited. the highest package is 400000 per annum and the average package is 250000 per annum. Every year 50-60% of students get placed in reputed companies. This year it is 57%. My plan after graduating is to get a job at a reputed MNC and kick start my carrier whether anyone can choose higher studies also teachers always encourage students to go for higher studies.

The course fees are lesser in comparison to other colleges and more feasible and have to pay semester-wise 14000 rupees the total course fee is Rs.84000 has to be given in six semesters. The hostel fees are also feasible and not included in the course fees, otherwise, all the other fees like tuition fees, laboratory, Library, Gym, and games, are included. As it is a government College there is no scholarship available within the college. Jobs are average at the minimum Companies come for placements every year and 50% of students get a job on campus in companies like TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, and many more. Packages start from 200000 to 400000 per annum. A weak or two is given for paying the semester fees.

Burdwan raj College Annual Fest is held in January every year in which all the department students and faculty members take part. The college campus is big and beautiful. There are plenty of places to chill. It has a Volleyball court, Cricket ground, and Badminton court. There are two libraries in the college which are rich with books of different categories. Many copies of certain books are available. Classrooms have projectors for audio-visual classes. There are many inter-college competitions to part in like cricket, football, debate, and quiz. Teachers and seniors always encourage students to participate. NSS group is there for awareness programs and many more.
