Remarks

Another state candidate can apply directly to college without any entrance exam. Candidates of the same state have to apply for the CAP round. The application form is available in the college. There are reservation benefits for state candidates as per category guidelines. Improvement - Admission should be through an online process so that a greater no of students can apply easily

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of Mining is 3 years. I have chosen this course because I had an interest in it and it is a unique branch too. Here the student's teachers ratio is 30:1. The senior teachers are well-qualified with a degree from IIT. And the other teachers were also having well-known degrees. The term exams were taken from time to time. You have to study hard to pass this examination, There is no help from the college for this exam. So if you thought that it was a private college and we can easily pass, leave that thinking

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure - ?50,000/ Year There is very relaxation for SC and ST students, they have to Only pay ? 1500/ year. I don't have much knowledge about scholarships because I can't get scholarships as I am from another state. Other State candidates can get a scholarship from their state by taking a bona fide from college.

Campus Life

The annual fest is generally conducted in March. Tech fest is not conducted There is normal availability of books in the library, bellow average The classroom has only a blackboard and nothing else No sports have been conducted since covid era.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel, you have a study table and a bed. There is no almirah for keeping important documents. Mess is closed after covid era, we had eaten through Dabba services The registration process for a hostel - gave an application to the college There are rooms available in Gobarwahi as well as in Sitasaongi, around 1 KM from the college

Hostel Fee: INR 7200 per year

Government Polytechnic Thane – My College Experience

Likes

As it is government collage, but still it have high level computer labs and high end computer for hevy coding
The collage teaching staff is very friendly and supportive
The collage arrange many competitions like quiz competition, sport tournaments and celebrate many festivels with fun.

Dislikes

The collage building is too old and not have well developed sport ground
The classrooms don't have Digi board or TV for didital learning and have old blackboard
The teachers don't take regular lactures, student have to study on it's own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.

Excellent college for diplomawith supportive faculty

Likes

teachers are helpful and you can ask them your doubts without any problem. most of them are quite supportive
there are technical events, sports and cultural programs during the year, so college is not only about studies
i liked the practical sessions and labs because we actually got to work on things instead of only learning the thoery

Dislikes

Placements opportunities could be better and i feel the college can bring more companies for students
Sometimes the academics workload can fell a bit much, espically when assignments, practicals and exams come around together
Using mobile in the collge is strictly not allowed and if used our mobile is taken and given after 6 to 7 days .

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

I liked the college campus, infrastructure and the helpful nature of the faculty. Teachers explain concepts well and are supportive when students need guidance.

Why I chose the course: The course has a good mix of theory, practical subjects, labs and technical skills, which influenced my decision. Real-world preparation: The curriculum gives basic industry knowledge and practical experience. It is also useful for higher studies. Improvements: More practical projects, industry visits, updated technology and hands-on training would make the course better. Teaching could be more practical and interactive. Exams: Internal exams are conducted during the semester and university exams at the end. The difficulty is moderate and manageable with regular study.

Faculty: teachers are helpfull qualified and have deep knowledge.
Infrastructure: The college campus has a hostel gym library with the number of books

Food: The college have hostels but include food is not good for us.

all the classroom has the Air-conditioned room and the smartboard with internet connectivity avaialable to the student

collage infrastructure once you have entered in college watchmen won't let you go unless its time to leave
new staffs added to the college they are very arogent and irrespectfull they behave as in we are the worst student regardless of our opininoin

I liked how they support any type of sports or passion that the student likes.
All the laboratories have the required equipment ready for the practicals to be performed.
The canteen of the college has varities of food and snacks for students or staff members.

Dislikes

Sometimes Lectures are not being conducted properly in the classroom.
The classroom and labs are dirty. The walls have smudges and footprints from shoes.
Most of the computers in the laboratory do not function and are very poor in terms of specs.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

I like my collage because only girls collage. i fill like that college as like my home,
all the teacher in our college very good. they help always student at any condition
my collage is best for girls to increase their confidance

there is nothing to dislike my colleage. all facilities are there my collage never give you a chance to hate.

from 5th semister become sligible for campus placements. Polybond india Prt Ltd. green electronic ect. compnies offerd internship that will provid you 7500rs per month Percentage of student getting placment in highr than 60% in all semister with no backlog
