Remarks

I took Direct admission to the college but I don't know the scenario now. As I think NIET does not take direct admission for CSE. They only take direct admission for branches other than CSE. Anyone who has qualified jee mains is eligible for the counseling and as per counseling they can choose NIET as their college. One can contact the college authority through NIET's website www.niet.co.in and from there they can guide how to do admission( if direct).

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because the IT sector has pretty good paying jobs and I really want to earn money. Talking about faculties, NIET has decent faculty. Sometimes or I should say more frequently Teachers leave the institute. I don't know the reason but they do. Faculty to student ratio is average. The teaching method is average. Exams are always timely and exams are based on what has been taught in college.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. More than 30 companies visit the campus and numerous offers are made. The highest package last year was 44.5lpa for 4 people who were hired in Amazon (off-campus) for the on-campus highest package was 15lpa from VMware. Most of the students get placed around 80%. Rest students either go for higher studies or startup I will do the job after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is decent. It is affordable and they do not hike the fees throughout the course. College also takes students on a financial waiver. Also, students in NIET apply for scholarships through the UP scholarship portal or National Scholarship Portal. I don't think college provides any jobs on campus.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest was not a thing until this year in NIET. Our first fest was organized this year (2022)Jagmag in the month of October. Extracurricular and sports activities are limited on campus there is not much infrastructure for sports. There are many clubs, and societies in the college such as IEEE, GDSC, and many more which are run by students.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
