Remarks

A minimum of 75 percent in 12 boards is required for admission to this college. One can find the application on Bennett University's official website and the application fee is 1000 I didn't receive any reservation so I don't have any idea regarding the same I think the admission process was smooth. Nothing could be better

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Because btech cse is in demand. And the word of mouth of faculty at Bennett University is good. It is about 1: 30 Most of the faculty are PhD s from IIT and nit But I don't think the teaching is top of the line They could be a lot better. I didn't take any exams until now so I don't have any idea about the same

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Placement Experience

I AM not so sure but most of the students attend interviews in their 5 and 6th semesters of their course. Eligibility is that u are supposed to maintain above 7 cgpa with no backlogs. I don't know about the statistics of the placement but the average cse pay is about 10 LPA. And highest this year is 1.2 CR LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quite high in comparison. But most of them receive scholarships so it cuts down the average fee paid. I think campus shops are Just looting money from the students. And taking full advantage of the Monopoly. They also have the upper hand due to the location of the campus

Campus Life

Fests are top-of-the-line. The recent tech fest and the annual fest were conducted on 17 -19 October. It was quite awesome. And the classroom is quite good as well. Could not ask for better. The library and sports complex are very well maintained but the only problem is that they are overcrowded. All the clubs are best in their own way.

Hostel Facilities

They provide you with a bed along with a mattress, a cupboard and a drawing table. All rooms are air-conditioned and washrooms are common for all students on the same floor. The food they could have given to the better contractor. The taste is average and the mess is too over crowded on working days.

Hostel Fee: INR 175000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Bennett University worth or not ???

Other colleges I applied for were -- VIT Velore, SRM University, Manipal University and sat for counseling too. The reason I didn't take admission in these colleges was mostly because of the distance from my home. I wanted a good college near my hometown and Bennett was the perfect candidate. It was close to my home city, provided the course I wanted to take and had a decent average package. The curriculum, fests, infrastructure and in general living conditions here at Bennett University are better than those at other colleges. But the placements and the education quality need improvement. The admission process is pretty simple: just register on the website, then fill out the form. After this, you have to come to the college to complete the registrations, that's it....Read More
