NIET Noida, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Remarks

For this course, students have to pass the uptu entrance exam. And the cutoff for this particular course is around 120 marks. After that students have to submit the counseling form and opt for the NIET college and computer science and engineering course. And the admission process in the college is very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for this course because it is very demanding at present. The faculty are very supportive of this college. They are always ready to help students at any point in time. And the faculty are very qualified as well. Their teaching style is also very good. the exam would be held at regular intervals of time. And the level of exam is moderate who study in class can easily pass the exam.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Most of the big MNCs came to this college for campus selection like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. The highest package of the last selection drive was 44 LPA and the average was around 6-7 LPA. Almost all the students from this course got selection letters from good companies. My plan after the degree is to work for a good MNC as a data scientist.

Fees and Financial Aid

For this course, fees were around 1.15 lakh per year but in the first year, it would be around 1.6 lakh. College offers 20000 scholarships for the branch topper every year. And college can accept the UP scholarship. And this college is known for its placements around every student of this college got placement in good MNC'S.

Campus Life

College conduct lots of tech and annual fest at regular interval of time which makes students life very interesting. The library of niet college is very big and it has around 10000 books. And the classroom is very big and full of equipment like smart boards, projectors, and AC classrooms. The college organizes NPL every year in which all the students can participate in different sports. College students have run lots of clubs like khushiyan baato club, niet jubilant, kalakriti, etc.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
