Remarks
The Course requires you to qualify for jee mains and jee advanced exams with a very good rank. Application forms and dates are notified online on their official websites. Reservation benefits are there for the people belonging to the category OBC, SC, ST, and economically weaker sections under the unreserved categories. Josaa counseling is conducted after which the college starts the admission procedure if you get into IIT BHU in the last round.
Course Curriculum Overview
For every semester Mid-semester and end-semester exams take place. If you study the subjects well from reliable sources you would be able to ace these exams. The professors and tutors suggest different books for the courses. You can refer to those as well. The faculties are excellent.
Internships Opportunities
Many MNCs like Google, Microsoft, and Uber offer internship opportunities to students. Even the students from the second year get intern sorted using their experience and skills. Many times the academic courses help us do different projects and write magazines that strengthen our resumes.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Several companies visit the college every year. The highest package for my branch went as high as 1crore while the average package is 33 lakhs. Almost 95% of students get placed. I plan to work in an MNC after the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is different for different categories. If you belong to an unreserved category and your family income is greater than 6 lakhs you will be charged a total tuition fee that is 110000. But if you belong to the ews or OBC category and your family is between 100000 and 500000 then you will have a waiver of two-thirds of your tuition fees. For students with a family income of less than 100000, the tuition fee is fully waived.
Campus Life
There are several clubs, groups, and councils in IIT BHU run by the students be it the clubs related to sports, academics, extracurricular activities, business, or social services. These clubs provide you with a very good platform to explore your interests.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are of moderate level here in my college. Few of the hostel buildings are very old dated while the new ones are good enough. Fans and tube lights are there in every room. Common bathrooms are there for all the students. You can install your coolers in your rooms.
