Remarks

Course eligibility is just 12 pass out with a minimum of 60% in pcm/b. You can find any info about admission on cucet official site which Is of CU itself. So, after registering myself at the college, I appeared for CUCET which is an online exam for the scholarship for Students. That scholarship is valid for one year(2 sem).

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Because of the NAAC ranking and the packages of the previous student which they got and the highest and basic package. The faculty is very experienced and not only do they have knowledge of their field but they also guide and help you to achieve your aim the teachers are very friendly and do everything to help you throughout college life. The student ratio is a bit off balance because I am CSE Student so boys to girl ratio are a bit off like 1:5 but in some batches, you will also get the inverse of this because of the course you choose. Qualification of teachers are from PhD. to B.Sc. it varies from field to field and their teaching method is excellent some teacher uses real-life example and some uses digital method to make you understand the concept. Mid-sem will happen after your unit is complete and a sem has a total of 3 units so a total of 2 mid sems and 2 lab practicals and 1 final exam will happen in the sem. It was moderately hard if you have the concept you will easily score well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Skillvertex and Notebook companies offered internship programs of stipend 15-20k after paying 2-5k of fees for registration of a 3month program. The outcome is to get the knowledge and experience of working life there would be 2 projects one will be minore and the other will be a major that we will do in our internship program.

Placement Experience

4

After the 6th sem, they are eligible for campus placement have a 4-year course, and can also be eligible for internship provided by the college. Google, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, etc big companies come and take the students of their choice. 52.4 Lakhs is the highest average is 6.5 Lakhs is the average package. 90-95% of Students get placed easily with the average package and 15% of them get good packages and 10% two to their packages at the same time.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's 106000 rupees for 1 sem, which is without scholarship but after getting some scholarship of about 40 to 50% it will be much less money to pay. The name of this scholarship exam is CUCET(Chandigarh University common entrance test) which will provide 2 sems scholarship means for 1 year after the scholarship will be given according to our performance in sem and final exams.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life at CU is the best. You can roam the campus at night day you can interact with international students and have the richest college life you can experience. The fest, tech fest, and camps are always going on every time, and something always going on campus and you'll have the most amazing experience. There is a library on every block and there is also a centralized library for hostler there are thesis books and other fictional and knowledgable books. There is a projector in every classroom. Some classes have AC labs wifi and the library also has free internet which works in college Id. Sports and extracurricular activities are always going hand in hand with academics. There are photography clubs, different kinds of clubs run by Students, and some social groups like NSS and other groups.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
