Remarks
I got into the course through direct admission. The teacher who got me admitted was very nice and helped me through each step of the admission. It didn't feel like a big deal. I got good Marks on my boards. Admission forms were free and provided by the teacher. It's best to directly go to the college instead of paying for other websites. I didn't even have to submit all my documents at once. After college started I submitted all the required documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are very well educated. And education is really focused here. There are various opportunities provided here. We are mentored in our research as well. There are mentors and laboratories. Funding is also provided by the college for potential projects. Discipline is focus here. This is not a party college.
Placement Experience
This is college is known for its placements. There is placement training that is started in the third year. From fourth year students start getting placed. Almost everyone gets placed or some students opt for higher studies and crack exams like a gate. The highest package offered last year was 44 lakh (but not in biotechnology obviously) and the average package is of 6lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
First-year fees are a little higher than the remaining years. It is around 5-6lakh in total. Concession is also provided here on the basis of academics. Students can also avail of Scholarships but mainly through national scholarship portals.
Campus Life
Tech fests are organised but not an annual fest with singers. There are many clubs you can join like khushiya baaton club, megapixel, etc all having their own agendas. Many events are organised from time to time by different departments and clubs. Sports fest are organised every year. A Diwali event recently organised was really amazing. Amenities in the classroom include smartboards, projectors, etc.
