Remarks
Admission to DTU is based on the rank of the entrance exam of JEE mains. Qualification to give jee mains exam is to have science with maths in class 12th. NTA conducts jee mains exam every year. Application forms are open around oct-nov on nta website, fees for an application form is around 650. After qualifying for the exam you can sit in the jac Delhi counselling process to opt for DTU courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses and curriculum are pretty relevant and good. Professors are also good at teaching except for some, teaching methods are mediocre here neither too advanced nor too backward. Some professors are really helpful and good some are just rude. One can easily qualify for exams easily by studying one week before the exam. Attendance is not that important, but it depends on prof.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies comes on campus to recruit interns such as Amazon uber etc. You can apply for it 3rd the year onwards. Internships are more difficult than the placement but if you are well prepared u can get internships easily because there is less competition in internships.
Placement Experience
The placement of DTU is great for tech branches(CS, IT etc) most of the top companies Amazon Google apple recruits from DTU. For non-tech branches placements are good because the pay avg package(6.5 lacs) is low than the tech branches(18lacs). But if you want you can grab the tech placement by studying for it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is very much here, every year fee is increasing exponentially and my 4-year fees are as( 2.06, 2.19, 2.36, 2.45 lacs). There is financial assistance from the college itself for low-background students and there is some govt scholarships too. If you want you can take loans at low interest from banks too.
Campus Life
Campus Life is awesome here, you can find a lot of extra things at DTU. Sports, societies, and clubs all are full of knowledge and enjoyment. There are a lot of tech groups in DTU which participated and had won many awards worldwide.
