Remarks

The only eligibility is to pass class 12. you can apply for this course directly from their official website at any time. They don't provide any scholarship or discount on fees until you got a scholarship from the government scheme. The admission process is very easy both online and offline mode available to apply.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because I was interested in studying electrical. The quality of teachers in 1st year was only very good but for the remaining three years teachers were like satisfactory. But they were very friendly, so overall good. Qualifications of teachers were mostly MTech and Ph.D. The exam was held on time, very easy to pass the exam.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Basic internships were held if the student himself went to ant local firm. Like I have done my internship from uppcl substation, and my friends did it in bsnl offices, we don't get any stipend for any internships.

Placement Experience

Students are for campus placement from 4th year. There was a good package for the CS branch for non-CS/IT students placement opportunity was not good. Around 60-70 percent of students got placed. My plan after my degree was to prepare for govt. job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study was not too high it was average. The yearly hike was like 5k to 6k. No scholarship was provided by the college, though one can apply for government scholarships, They used to help students to avail scholarships to eligible candidates from govt.

Campus Life

3.5

Many kinds of extra activities were held every year like tech fest, Robo race, an exhibition of projects of students, annual function, visit of any famous personality. The alumni meet was the most exciting where all friends meet.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

They provided all kinds of basic requirements like a clean environment, hygienic food 24*7 library, hot water during winter, a playground, indoor and outdoor sports, The quality of food was hygienic but not tasty and yes they provided health insurance. you can get pg in alpha 2, pari chowk.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
