Remarks

Management is very good, Management staff of our college is very nice, best, College environment is awesome. Faculties awesome. Placement is amazing that is why i opted this college only.

Entrance Preview

I opted for this college as it was and is one of the most popular institution in Chennai. And campus has great faculty members which provide best education to its students.

Internships Opportunities

The summer Internship Program (SIP) aims at widening students’ perspective by providing an exposure to real life organizational situation. Summer Internship is an important and integral part of the academic curriculum. The Summer Internship lasts for 10- 12 weeks and tests the students thoroughly on their learning.

Placement Experience

3.5

All IIKM – MBA 1st year students have to undertake an NGO/CSR projects under this CSR initiative. This project will enhance the students to apply their learning of the first two trimesters in a live scenario, where such inputs are highly valued.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very much strong as of now but the college management is trying to make it better by organizing alumni meets all across India and even abroad.

The faculty was mostly retired faculty of IITs and other prestigious institutes when it comes to being HOD of a department. Rest of the faculty was mostly masters or PHDs from regular colleges. A few of them were from IITs and other prestigious institutions as well.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO
