I got admission in NIET through UPSEE 2016. I scored 248 marks and took part in counseling process. According to my UPSEE scorecard this college was suitable for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good. They provide us favourable environment to deep study and research work. Subjects are taught in a particular and fixed manner. On the other hand they provide labs for development. Student can access the lab during college time and hostler can access after college time also.
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college is well known college of north india who provide internships to their students. But i have not tried because i have recently completed my 1st year. I will try for internship after completion of my 2nd year.
Placement Experience
Our college is best in placements. The average package is about 3.5 lacs per annum. Last year students of our college placed in 135 companies. I can not mention the names of all companies. Some of them are-- TCS,INFOSYS,IBM,GENPECT,AMAZON,LGSOFT etc
College Events
Fresher party Abhyudya 2k16- It was cultural fest we enjoyed a lot in it. Annual fest Ebullience 2k17- It was technical and sports fest. I participated in two events. I could not win but learn about new things. Alumni meet 2017 It was also a cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible and minimum in greater noida. It is about 1,18000 per annum for b.tech 1st year. About 97600 per annum for b.tech 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. I dont know about the fee structure of other courses. But in b.tech fee structure of NIET is minimum in greater noida.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about it. Scholarship is provided by the university AKTU to all students who are eligible for it.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome. Full on enjoyment Full on studies. There are many societies and groups in our college. They arrange many programs and workshops for students. Gender ratio is about 10:6 overall. There are all types of students like economically strong and weak.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are very good for 1st year and average for seniors. Hostel seats are sufficient. Mess food is also average. I will give 8 out of 10 for 1st year and 7 out of 10 for seniors. Hostel fee is 70,400 per annum for three seater. Faculty members visit hostel time to time.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are very helpful. They motivate us and provide right direction. They provide us useful study materials and share their experience with us.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is semester wise. Sessionals and PUT are arranged by college almost every month. Labs are arranged in alternative manner. But i like to work practically more than theory. All the facilities provided to us are sufficient for a student.
Admission
Notification of upsee 2016 was released in march 2016. I filled form and took exam which was held on third sunday of april month. Now By taking part in counseling of UPSEE 2016. In counseling AKTU allotted me NIET. I submit required documents like high school and intermediate mark sheets etc. And then submit fee.
Faculty
The faculty of NIET is well qualified. They have complete knowledge of their subjects. They are very helpful and frank with students. We can clear our doubts at any time during class and they provide us extra time after classes. They also arrange extra classes.
