My experience

The minimum eligible marks for my course was 35 out of 120 in which I scored 50 above For the entrance exam, you can apply online with the help of your mobile or laptop based on your comfort. I got my seat on reservation based so my college fee was paid by the State government only the University fee had to pay from my hand. Even if you fail in entrance test also you can get a seat in college but the total fees have to be paid by you only.

I have chosen civil engineering because it has more government job opportunities than any other courses on the engineering side. The curriculum was very tough but not that much hard you will fail. The teaching staff in our college was so good that we were never afraid of failing any semester exam. The minimum qualification of our faculty was M.tech and we also had faculty members who had done PhD etc.

In our last semester, we have to go do some main and mini projects which we will be sent under some engineer or we can do on our own also. But doing as an intern will give us an experience which helps to learn more about the work practically.

From the 4th year 1 semester, the students will be allowed to go participate in placement programs in college. Which help them to experience more about GDs and interview and how they work. It helps them to gain more knowledge about how things work outside the campus. The average package ranges from 4lpa to 6 LPA. Max students prefer higher studies than getting a job in placement so the percentage of placement is less.

The cost to study was so high but if you got a seat by qualifying for in the exam the state government will provide you with full fee reimbursement, where you don't have to pay any college fees. They also provide you with a scholarship if you are an sc/St/obc candidate based on some terms and conditions

Campus Life was so amazing. Our campus consists of a big main building with a canteen at its centre and a big playground at its backside. The classroom is also so big that it can accommodate 120 to 150 students without any problem. The college also has its own library also with a large number of book collections. Every year a college fest will be conducted to cheer up students and the art in them

The college hostel consists of beds and fans. For a single room, 4 to 6 members are allowed which is very good. The food provided is also very good and healthy. The hostel fees are also very affordable and the facilities are also very good.

If you have got a good rank in the entrance exam. You can get the seat directly without any interview gd or written test. But if you want to join a certain particular college only you have to join under management seats where students who applied for that are filtered by doing interviews and conducting GDs.
