Remarks

Eligibility of this course which I got 70 percent in 12 classes and also cleared cucet exam which is held by cu. On the official Chandigarh University site, you can find the application form, application fees and application dates. No, I think they all give facilities to all students which were necessary for all students for getting all the details regarding the admission process in this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because when I am a teenager I have a dream to become a software engineer that's why I chose this course to get complete my dream. According to me faculty: the student ratio is 3:10 Qualification is different for all approx because all teachers teach different subjects and different specialization fields that's why but all are postgraduate teachers. According to me if students are listening to the teacher's lecture properly and making proper notes then have not to face any type of difficulty during the exam.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

According to me and my senior and my teacher's info, this university also gives internships for students who are eligible for that internship. Many companies are offering internships in this university for students like Microsoft and Google and etc

Placement Experience

According to college information and seniors of our college, they said in this university placement starts from 5 sem at the end many companies are starting visiting in university for placement. The average package is 5 lakh and the highest package is 1 crore 70 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to me and my family finance status fees is more and many students are the same as mine that's why they face the same issue same as me. The scholarship name is cucet exam e Which is eligible for the scholarship at this university.

Campus Life

According to me, college life is good in college because they have all these things which in needful for students regarding study and enjoyment Like in college always many programs are daily held. This university also focuses on sports level even many players are also played in current for our country like Arshdeep Singh in cricket and many more.

Hostel Facilities

I have not take hostel because this is out of my budget that's why I have not take hostel but my many friend are take hostel they said me hostel facility is good . According to me if students budget is good then they can take hostel if not then they can have take other options like flat.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Interview Experience

No i think according to me if students are study in 11,12class in proper whey then they have no difficulty to clear this college exam and get admission. Regarding to me 11,12study material is enough for this exam. First of fall you have give cucet exam if you are pass in this exam then you can get admission in this university. In cucet site all information is available regarding addmission process.

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
