Remarks

For JIIT -62 cutoffs till the 8th upgradation are:- CSE- 46,143 in jee mains or 97.33% in boards Integrated CSE- 83001 in mains or 96.67% in boards IT - 50,497 in jee mains or 96.67% in boards For JIIT 128 CSE - 70,680 in jee mains or 95.67% in boards One can find the application form on the JIIT website, application fee is 1200 Rs. There are reservations for NRI as well as SC/ST applicants and there is a fee difference also in their cases. I am general category and haven't availed of any as such benefit but got to hear it from some of the students. There are pure wait-listed students too and they come a little later than the ones who have already enrolled. Though there is no loss for them it becomes quite difficult for them to interact the way initial ones do and they couldn't explore the campus that much but they can do so in their four years so no such problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

CSE is something that has gained its importance for quite years now and if you want a decent high salary job then its always advisable to choose it as your branch and all above that if you have an interest in it gives the joy of another level. The faculty: student ratio is generally 1:30 but in some classes, two batches are combined so then it's 1:60. The faculties here are highly educated and knowledgeable and supportive. For subjects like engineering maths and physics, you can just cover it by revising what they have taught, and then ppts are provided after every lecture so it's easy to recall for sdf they teach nicely but you need to practice a lot programs to score well. There are in total 3 exams Test 1-20 marks Test 2 -20 marks And the last one ends the sem exam The last one is quite difficult as the complete syllabus comes in it but if one could score in the initial one it becomes easier to pass the subject.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are various internship opportunities and JIIT even conducts hackathons so many recognized companies come and give opportunities to the students. The students are given financial support if their proposed project gets recognized and has the potential to have a place in the market. A senior team of our college build a drone that helped in agriculture and they were recognized and given funds for that

Placement Experience

4

The on-campus placements start in the 6th semester. Many MNCs visit our campus and there are mass recruitments too. Companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Deollite, Amazon, Infosys and many more companies visit our campus and they even give high packages. Above 98% of students get placed every year. Here many of us who are from JIIT most of us plan to pursue a postgraduate course and likewise, I am also planning to pursue MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here are quite higher than at other private universities. There are no such scholarship opportunities provided here and every year there is a rise in fees by 10-15k. Btech students mainly focus on internships, especially from the 4th semester so hardly anyone considers doing any in-campus jobs. If you have certain policies in your state that are provided and you are eligible for them you can apply them and show them over here then they give some kind of scholarship if it's applicable.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual fest every year which is mainly held in the first semester but due to the disbalance caused by the covid, it could even be held in the second semester. It lasts for 3 days known as JIIT converge in which the whole college participates and different societies perform on different days in these 3 days' time. The last day is the most interesting one because one of the famous artists comes on this day and we enjoy ourselves a lot. It could be held either in November after the first test of college or in Feb in the second semester. There are mainly books related to studies in the learning resource center(library) but sometimes you could find a few interesting ones too. The classroom is full ac ones with a board as well as a ppt viewer and the seats are well organized so that one can see the teacher from the back seat too. There are sports clubs, especially in JIIT 128, and many societies like dramatic societies, photography clubs, tech societies, and sports clubs too all run by seniors and us.

Other Applied Colleges

Galgotias University - [GU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I found that the placement opportunities are great here in jiit than many other private colleges and the average as well as median package is high over here

Galgotias University - [GU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Due to higher placement opportunities here in jiit and great coding culture I chose it instead of galgotias

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
