Remarks

Eligibility for any course is very easy. You just need to attend the CET Exam on which basis you can choose this college. There are no certain benefits of reservation in this case. Anyone from any category can attend the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really useful but also pretty outdated. Choosing this course would help you get employment in the IT sector. The faculty members area qualified for a good post, and many of them are Ph.D. Offline Exams from MAKAUT university in the year 2022 were very unexpectedly tough.

Placement Experience

From the 5th sem students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit the college such as TCS, Wipro, HP, etc. The highest package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest is 2.7 LPA. Almost 70% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee payment is pretty easy and affordable. You can get financial assistance through Different banks' education loans or West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme. Getting a JOB on campus is not very tough but not satisfactory either.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted once a year and the same goes for the tech fest. Both are really important to be attended. It really benefits students. Books are easily available in Library but they are just as useful as college Management.

From fifth or 6 semester is present become eligible for campus placement. There is no company visited in our college. The highest package of our college is 32 LPA and the average package of our college is 4LPA. 82.7% MCA

My IEM

Likes

Discipline. The discipline there is the mainstay behind their academic and professional success of the students.
Academic Pressure. The healthy pressure given in academics was the major reason why I came out with flying colours.
College life. The college culture was nice, and we, the students really enjoyed ourselves by making friendships and bonds.

Dislikes

Authoritarianism. The institute survives on Authoritarianism, and whatever was said by the faculty was like an edict for us.
Selective Preference(Sometimes) of students. The placement cell is headed by a person who only allows his favored students to appear for the good jobs.
Strictness. It is very strict, and not even the basic amounts of freedom are allowed in the college, everyone has to follow a certain standard.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Likes

Supportive faculty - Helpful and friendly teachers
Great canteen - A favorite Spot for students
Safe atmosphere - No ragging, ensuring a positive environment

Dislikes

distance issues - 5-7 minutes walk from the station
Lack of eateries - No restaurants or cafes nearby
No direct private vehicles available; they are available only on extra payment

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Limited Internships – More industry exposure needed.
Crowded Campus – More space would be better.

Placements start from the 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro recruit. Highest package: ?10 LPA, average: ?3-5 LPA. 70-80% get placed. Plan: Gain experience, pursue MCA or certifications for growth.

Inspiria: A quick glance

Likes

Practical exposure to learning, good internship opportunities, exposure to trained industry professionals
Well-equipped labs and training/learning facilities
Sustainable infrastructure and campus design

Dislikes

Limited library resources and heavy dependency on e-books, with a mismanaged book rental system
There are some blocks which need better connectivity features, frequent jamming occurs there

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internhips from 4th sem onwards, provided they have no backlogs and are well equipped for skills demanded by companies. The college provides good internships and job placements in reputable companies such as TCS, Wipro, Amazon etc,.[for computer science departement] with an average package of 3.5 LPA. The college has achieved a well rounded record of 100% placements[T&Cs applied] for 3 consecutive batches now[2019-22, 2020-23, 2021-24].

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3.
