Remarks

The eligibility was passing +2 from CBSE or state board examination. The application form for admission was applied online via the official site of the university and was selected through various processes. The improvement that I want is, the site through which the application was submitted is not easily accessible and usable. It is hard to navigate through it and after getting approval for joining the candidate has to personally appear before the admission officer but the time period given for this process is too short and this time period should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I was interested in it from the beginning and wanted to study science and botany more. The students were a total of around 150+ in the whole department and for all these students there were a total of 6 faculty including lab assistants. The lecturers were mostly PhD or pg holders and the lab assistants were atleast undergraduates. The internal and term exams were all timely conducted as portions were completed and all results were published accordingly. Exams were moderately hard and any kind of malpractice was strictly banned.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The internship opportunities were provided by mostly a company called club Mahindra and the roles offered were mostly sales assistant and managerial roles which were quite not suitable for the course I studied. Various orientation classes were conducted by the above-mentioned company so that to select specific needed candidates In the last stages of the classes the selected students were given the choice to go through the internship.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placement opportunities are provided from the fifth semester itself. Mani famous companies like Flipkart and banking institutions like federal bank visited and provided openings to more than 100. The opening salary provided by most of them was 30000. Even though the number of students got selected were very few compared to the number of openings. My plans after my degree were to pursue a diploma in poultry production and after completing the diploma I am planning to migrate to some foreign countries like Canada or Australia.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees weren't a huge issue as admission was done through the merit seats provided by the university although an amount of 10000 was paid during the admission time as a course fee which was unavoidable. Various scholarships based on marks and backward community scholarships were provided to students who were eligible for them. Job drives and campus placement were conducted.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest was usually conducted in the month of January the fest was named as 'Rithu' and was conducted by a group of students and faculty. The campus had a huge library in which a whole lot of books were available. Even computerized copies of books were available in the library. All classrooms were digitised with projectors and screens. The ground was provided for sports activities in which galleries and dressing rooms were built and it was used for playing football and cricket a special basketball court was also built. A group called the students fraternity and B4U were active in the college which helped the students to come together at a place and gather without Any obligations or boundaries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Remarks:

College lacks infrastructure and ample space for the ease of college excitement but the college offers a great field of laboratories and on-site experience in the field the faculty and lectures sometimes involve too much into their personal life than minding their own business.
