Remarks
A minimum of 60 percent is required in 12 classes for addmission to BTech in our college. application form can be found at reception and addmission is open between Jan to August. those whose parents aren't earning enough to pay the fee can apply for reservation benifits with OBC criteria you will get 55000rupee, sc/st gets 75000rupee, and general get a 35000rupee scholarship approx.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in biotech engineering from the beginning and I got admission in niet. faculty and students ration is around 1:50 and well-qualified and knowledgeable faculty members are available for students who are Ph.D. holders and their teaching quality is good too.
Placement Experience
There were around 80%of students placed in my course. The highest package was 44lpa The lowest package was of 4 LPA To 5 LPA The average package was 8pa to 9 LPA The top companies were amazon, Flipkart, and blinking. Etc. Around 79-87 % got placement. my plan is to get placed in the research department of a good pharmaceutical company
Fees and Financial Aid
course fee of biotech BTech in niet is around 125000 rupee and hostel fee is 85000. up a scholarship, form is filled out to get a reservation scholarship. sc st gets the highest reservation scholarship of around 75000 then obc with 55000 and general gets 35000. a job with a minimum salary of 2.5lpa to a highest of 44lpa have placed last year
Campus Life
College’s main focus is on studies. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun in NIET. Several clubs organize various competitions occasionally. Almost every weekend, an event is entertained. If you are interested in technical competitions, then NIET Firefox Club, Technocrats, and various other clubs organize amazingly innovative and entertaining events. And if you are interested in cultural events, then there are various clubs for that too. There is no special cultural fest, but the time tech fest and sports fest are enjoyable too. almost every book of every authors is available at the library
Hostel Facilities
NIET has two campuses: The first campus is for only first-year students. They have their separate hostel and classrooms. There is no chance of ragging at NIET. Hostel life is pretty good at NIET but you have a certain foundations in the first year only like you have to take permission from your warden for leave, or if you are going outside at night after 8 pm then also you have to take permission But you will find a more good point about the niet hostel like there is a large playground and indoor games also, you can play when you want to play and the most important thing is you can celebrate your friend's birthday the whole night. But there is no restriction on the second campus, you can do whatever you want. and there are large rooms in NIET and you can roam around the cafeteria whenever u want. mess food is not so great but I grouped it into average
Interview Experience
for the gd and interview, very formal and easy questions were asked just for formality for students with 75+ percent. first admission application form should be filled and then a basic interview with hod has to be done.
