Remarks
NIET has a strong faculty with professional experience in teaching. The placement drive at the college is reportedly active most of the time. The eligibility criteria vary on the branch you are taking admission in but for cse it is 75% throughout minimum. The admission process is straightforward and not overly complex. Students will need to bring a few documents such as original mark sheets, passport-size photos, and an aadhar card. If a student is seeking admission through the jee, they will also need to present their jee result. It is good to know that there is a fee waiver option available for students who come from a weaker section but have immense potential.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are experienced in teaching and many of them have advanced degrees such as master's or Ph.D. The faculty members have a strong foundation in their subject matter and are committed to ongoing professional development. Everyone has a different teaching style but most of them have friendly nature. The term exams are timely and in certain cases, they are delayed which will be informed in advance in such cases And it's not so difficult to pass them as most of the questions are from the assignment they give you in class.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placement from 5th semester onwards and anyone who has no backlog and meets the requirements of the company is eligible for campus placement. There are mass recruiting companies visit to the campus like Capgemini, dx, cognizant,TCS , Infosys, and some other startup companies like infinity gaming. The highest package offered is 7.5 lacs on campus by Capgemini and virtusa and 24 LPA from off-campus by amazon. The majority of students get placed requiring they don't have any backlog. I m thinking if doing a master's at a reputed college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship provided by the college though but you can opt for the up scholarship if you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh. And can look up various other scholarships available for students pursuing graduation. I got selected by 2 companies from the campus although I don't get any kind of internship opportunity.
Campus Life
NIET is a vibrant and active campus with a range of events and activities for students to participate in. The annual fest and various tech competitions throughout the academic year provide opportunities for students to showcase their skills and talents, and can also be a lot of fun. The library at niet has a good collection of reference books and other resources. And also there are various clubs available for students to join, such as khushiya baato club, art and drama club, and music club. These clubs can provide students with the chance to pursue their interests, meet new people, and develop new skills.
