Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose CSE because I was interested in coding and wanted to do a course related to computer and coding. I wanted to become a software engineer that why I choose computer science and engineering in niet. The faculty is very good in niet. They even have air conditioned labs with latest computers in labs. Having best and very much friendly faculty in here. The faculty here is very much qualified The have done masters and phd. There are total 8 semesters exams in total 4 years Three sessionals exams between each semester exam.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here is very much less as compared to other colleges. There is only one time submission of fees then you dont have to give anything for the whole year. And the hostel fees is nearly 95000 and the hostels are very good. You can also avail for many government scholarship such as up scholarship or pmsss. The college fully help you to avail scholarship from government.

Campus Life

The college has many clubs which works very good and are bery productive. You can even open your own club. The college clubs do many social works and conduct many functions and programs. The clubs are run by students only and are very interesting. There are khushi baaton club, green gold club, coding club, cricket club, music club, theatre club, etc

Admission

I took admission in this college through jee mains. I tried to take fee waiver but the rank for fee waiver was not eligible for me. I took admission in this college by achieving 75 percentile in jee mains Then I reported physically and made myself admitted For admission you require 10th marksheet 12th marksheet transfer certificate of previous school character certificate aadhar card and some minor documents

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
