College semester timing completing course of 6 months within 3 months with lots of assignments& extra works.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is average as compared with other colleges where they focus on overall development while here only to be focused in academics only with a lot of unnecessary assignments which faculties don't have time to look at it. Faculties are well qualified & many of them are from iit but still, they cover the syllabus in half the period than other, our 4 semesters got covered within 3 months whereas other colleges took at least 5 months for a semester.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Placement Experience

Average placement after 6th sem we are eligible to sit in placement. companies are TCS, Capgemini, etc. the highest package is 45lakh. My plan is to apply off-campus because this is what you would be able to get your desired opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

fess is quite high comparatively they will the fees for btech any course is around 1.6lakh yearly So if you are getting a better option than this than just go for it because, for past 3 years, there haven't been a single fest like a big circular activity.

Campus Life

1.5

There are many clubs which are mainly managed by students, there is a library on campus & also a computer lab but can only be accessed on a working day during college hours which makes us unaccessible because in order to use the library we must bunk our classes. Many books are available including mainly academics with older versions because they don't spend much on them.

Admission

Admission was done on the basis of upsee counselling the cutoff was very low for low branches like mechanical & all. But If you want a core cse branch you could easily get here because of the very low cutoff of about 3lakh. A lot of useless paperwork inspires those who take direct admission just required to pay the fees just but for those getting into counselling is a pain in the head process management is not friendly they make you run even for an unnecessary thing like a staple pin in the wrong direction etc.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
