Is it worth to join Chandigarh University?

The course curriculum is not too hectic or not too easy. It will be moderate. Maximum faculty members are young like they were doing MTech or M.sc from any university and teaching here. But faculties are knowledgeable you didn't get into any trouble here to learn any subjects. There is not any specific faculty here any teacher will teach any subject. There are two mid-term exams and between 1st mid-term and 2nd mid-term there is mid sem practical test. And then you have to give end-term practical and theory exams. Questions are easy to direct forward.

Placements offered here are not so very good. In 3rd year you have two options TPP or NON-TPP. TPP means training of placements program in which the DCPD department has trained you all about placements that how to sit how to give answers in the interviews also how to attempt coding questions and aptitude questions. There is a very strict rule for TPP classes if you miss 2 classes you are disqualified from the TPP group. After all, in the 4th year companies have started coming. Last time one company offered 226000 dollars (1.7 crores approx) it was the highest package offered. 7 LPA is average computer science students packages. There are so many companies that offered 10+ lpa. Only you have to be talented.

I got admission here in 2021 at that time the fee structure of this college is 90000 per semester and also I got a 50% scholarship which will cost me 45000+2000 (Examination fee). Every student here got a scholarship of at least 25%. So there is no financial load here. Hostel fee you have to pay the full year in advance like 100000 for a whole year.

Life on the campus was amazing. You have all opportunities here only you have to participate. Fest and cultural activities here are amazing you can see celebrities who will perform in Fest at CU. Also, it is a private university so there is no need to talk about the infrastructure of the 250acre campus 5 stars. neat and clean building. All clubs are present here but students do not want to join clubs because there are no such benefits to joining clubs here. So maximum clubs have only 50-60 members.

Hostel facilities are quite good here. In 100000 per year, you have 4 seaters (Non-AC) rooms. You have a choice of 1,2,3 seater (AC and Non-AC). But there is less chance of getting 1,2 or 3 seaters because all that types of rooms are reserved for international Students, faculties members, and students whose fathers have certain powers or are popular. So maximum students choose 4 seater rooms. You can also choose 5 seater rooms. For Girls, there is 4 hostel Tagore, LC, Shivalik, and Sukhna hostel, and for boys, there are two hostels in NC with 6 towers (building) and Zakir is 5 seater (4 building). Rules and regulations for the girl's hostel are strict.

The admission process at Chandigarh University is very simple. All you have to give CUCET exam which is the Chandigarh University commons entrance test. From that exam, you can also avail of scholarships up to 100%. There is not any eligibility to join only you have to pass the 12th class. Application forms are available online on Chandigarh University's websites. There is not any reservation in this college anyone can get admission here. Yes, but there are scholarships in different categories like sports, jee marks, music, army quota, etc.
