What Students Say

Likes

Most important thing of college is faculty members and im very happy with that
seniors are very friendly and helping in nature
college placements and opportunities ut gives us to grow

Dislikes

not disliked but not so happy with infrastructure
students of B.tech first year are in another campus
when a student comes to collehe he or she expects first from college is fresheres and we dont get this

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose B. Tech in Information Technology because I was eligible for the CSE branch and after taking admission to NIET I realized I was right I m very happy with my college and my course my faculty members, and faculty are well qualified their teaching processes are best. Sessional practices and everything important to the curriculum is a timely held and if any student is attentive in classes they can score so good in exams.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 160300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

First I paid 1,60,300 Rs at the time of admission as my first-year fee books and all are included in this. I am not a hosteler of NIET because, at the time of my admission, all seats are already filled but I know about their hostel fees because some of my friend's opt fees of hostels are very relevant and pocket friendly. UP government scholarships are available.

Campus Life

4.5

If I talk about reality there are two campuses one is for B.Tech 1st year students only and another one is for all rest of the students of different courses and years infrastructure of both campuses is okay. sports and extracurricular activities are good there are so many clubs here and future opportunities. Tech fests are conducted every year. Seniors are very friendly and helpful.

Admission

I got into this college through JEE counseling. I got a reservation seat for an OBC girl. No, I don't want any improvement in the admission process that was so smooth and easy. I wanted the CSE branch but due to my low rank in jee mains I got IT in this college but this college is much better than CSE in any college of low rank compares to this.

Other Applied Colleges

Galgotias University - [GU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

NIET have much better placements compare to GU

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
