What Students Say

Likes

I liked all faculties teaching style and syllabus of our college.
I liked all clubs and their events which always be active here
I also liked the sports fest which taked place every year.

Dislikes

No any freshers party were provided to us .
If you stay in hostel at class time then the electricity is cut down
And network is also cut through zammer when we stay at class time

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen B.Tech because I want to become a software engineer. I have also applied for admission by counseling and I have taken the AIML branch which is an emerging branch. All faculties are very nice, few are strict but they have very nice teaching style and experience. Almost all of them have completed their Ph.D. And the ratio is about 20 students per teacher. Per month there are sessional exams and 1 month is completely for semester exams and half month goes for internal and external exams.

Class Size: 2Course Fees: INR 507000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am right now in semester 4. So I have not made any projects and I have not taken any internships from any companies but we will get an internship form next semester and we have to make a project this year we have planned to make a handwriting recognition project which will work on ai.

Placement Experience

4.5

After 2nd-year training is provided to 3rd-year and 4th-year students. The placement cell is very good and almost everyone gets job offers according to their study and training criteria. Everyone has almost 2 to 3 placement offers from different companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees of my study are 5 lakh 7 thousand. The 1st year fee is 1 lakh 53 thousand and after that per year, it comes to 1lakh 17 thousand. For general students, there is no opportunity for scholarships. The placement cell is a very good job taken by almost every student.

Campus Life

There are so many clubs for student development like music club, dance club, theater club, poetry club, Khushiyan baton club, green gold club, and tourism club. Students according to their interests can join these clubs. Different sports clubs are also in our college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good for 1st-year students. It cost approx. 1 lakh for a flat type hostel if a regular hostel then it comes to 83 thousand. But after 1st-year a regular hostel is only provided which cost 88 thousand. Proper lights, fans, etc. are provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The admission process was very nice and it is only available after your percentage in classes 10th and 12th if applying for direct admission and if we apply for counseling then it takes some time after counseling of different stages admission is provided.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
