Likes

I also like my college campus which is very big and it consist of 4+ grounds in which we spend our quality time.
I also like the fest and programs which was conducted by our college after a regular interval of time.

Dislikes

I also dislike about sports facilities provided by our college it will not provide us to play cricket in college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to become a software engineer. All the faculty which is present in our college have done their graduation from a reputable college. All the faculty members have good knowledge of their respective subjects. The student ratio is approx 60:40. The exam will be done after every two months and 3 times in a semester. We have to get 33% marks to get pass semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

The companies which provide us internships with our Google, Samsung, apple etc. They allow us to learn new things during the internship period. The provide us with new projects to work on and also provide a mentor who guides us during the project.

Placement Experience

The companies start visiting our college for placement from the 6th semester. 50+ companies visited our college in 2021-2023 which has improved now it become 70+. The various offers are made by different companies on the basis of their requirements. The highest package is 44 lakhs and the average package is 4.5 lakhs. The popular companies that visited are Google, TCS, Wipro, Dilode etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college that are miet is very costly. The fee for our college is 110000. The scholarship in our college was given to only OBC, SC and ST. The scholarship will not be given to General which is wrong because this is not equality for every student. The name of the scholarship is the UP scholarship and the job will be given to every student in general.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is Kolhaal which lasts for three days. This fest is conducted during the month of December and all the students enjoy this fest very much. The library of our college is very big and provides us with all the books which we are required to study. All the classmates enjoy kolhaal with soft drinks and various activities.

Admission

Our college that is Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology found to be the best college in Meerut. The admission process of our college is that it takes admission through UPTU and JEE Mains. The application form can be found on the MIET website which is miet.ac.in and also you can directly go to miet college and take the application form from there. There are reserved seats for selected students who get more marks in the entrance exam.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I really like my college . It is very good college around the meerut

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

MIET Review

To get admission in MIET you should score 70% marks and clear 10+2. There were 2 ways in the past to get admission in Miet through UPSEE/JEE Mains and direct admission by percentage of 12th class but now you can only take admission through Jee Mains and direct as UPSEE exam has been dicountinued from 2021.After applying through this you are called for counselling and according to your rank and marks branch is allocated to you....Read More
