CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY COMPLETE REPORT

My course is B.E.-C.S.E. and talking about the academic curriculum, each subject will have its own internal assignments like worksheets, quizzes, assignments, and surprise tests, so the whole semester you will be busy completing these stuff that will make you stick around the ongoing topics in the class. Most of the teachers use ppts while teaching in the class and they will share the ppts with you on the LMS. The qualification of 1st-year and 2nd-year teachers is btech to mtech but as you move forward in the course, the qualification of teachers increases like in 2nd year you will also find many Phd teachers too.

The placements are quite good in the university, all big and small companies come for placement like Amazon, adobe, google, Microsoft, wallmart, etc. From 3 year onwards university allows students to sit for placements and apply for an internship before 3rd year, after ending of each semester there is about 1 to 1.5 month of leave in which you can easily do an internship and they also provide 10 duty leaves per subject per semester for participation in different events inside and outside the university. Talking about good placement, recently 5 students were placed in Amazon at 45 LPA and a girl secured 54 lpa in the networking field. So if you do your part nicely then the university will go wonders for you, the university also focuses on parents, and research papers and also has its own startup incubator too.

The fees are really simple, the amount you are charged for the 1 year will be the same for the 4 years there will be no increase in your fees. There are four categories of fees:- tuition fees, hostel fees, security money, and exam fees. Talking about scholarships, it is really easy to grab a handsome scholarship at Chandigarh university, you can get a scholarship up to 100% of your tuition fees based on the CUCET marks.

Campus life is one of a kind at Chandigarh university with a lush green campus and seating benches provided all over the campus also there is a big fountain OAT in the middle of the campus that is a big student place in the evening and night. Talking about fests, there are many fests and events that happen at Chandigarh university regularly, the major one is CU FEST which is a 2 days multi-functional event that comprises dance, singing, mimicry, comedy and many more competitions and also DJ nights in the night on both days with big singers of the industry like last year benny dayal and mankirat aulakh were there, this happens in the month of March, other than this, many events and movie promotions happen regularly every month, CU also hosted the SOOD classic strong man games this year.

There are multiple hostels , 3 seater, 4 seater, 5 seater for boys and 4 seater for girls, according to me 5 seaters are the best as the rooms are big enough and spacious, the mess food is also good ( like 7-8 meals out of 10 are good) also there are many canteens available in the hostel where you can find each and everything of your liking (11 Am to 11 pm) If we talk about pg and flat they are also available but at little distance but you can easily find autos to come to college daily.

Eligibility is 50% in 12th and for admission, you just need to visit the official website of Chandigarh University (cuchd.in) and register your details for admission then an admission counsellor will get in touch with you and guide you further, the process is, you have to fill CUCET form and give an online exam that will decide your scholarship as CU provides great scholarship opportunities. The result is shown in 1 Or 2 days and you can then pay the fees online and fix your admission.
