Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electronics and communication branch because I have keen interest in knowing the mechanism behind the working of electronic devices and how the chips are made. Faculties are allotted to the students based on their strengths and for the strength of 10 students one Mentor is assigned. Niet has a great community of teachers as it consists of Ph.D. holders teachers and well-experienced teachers. Niet takes 3 sessionals for the 3 consecutive months and internal viva, as well as external viva, are also held after that semester. Exams are not that tough but one has to study from the beginning in order to achieve good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies visit the campus for the recruitment drive. Students get selected according to their performance in the various rounds. Internship opportunities with stipends are provided by the companies and it offers 15k - 30k as a stipend. Synopsis and Capgemini provide internship opportunities in the field of hardware and software Projects are very helpful in showing your talent as it gives an overview of the things that you have learned during your previous semesters.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester one becomes eligible for the placement as the company starts visiting the campus at the end of the 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Airtel, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Cognizant offer various packages according to the roles. The highest package goes up to 40lpa and the average package goes up to 4lpa. About 90 % of the total students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in the good Company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is not that high in comparison with the neighboring colleges. It doesn't charge any extra money after the college fees. The hike policy does not bother much as it is held after 4yrs. Scholarship provided by the state government or through sports quota. It provides internship opportunities also.
Campus Life
The sports meet was held in March and the hackathon, the annual fest was held annually. The library consists of vast no. Of books related to different subjects. The classroom consists of a projector, and board and has proper ventilation. It gives proper opportunity in the field of sports and games. It helps in maintaining equality among the students. Our college has different clubs, Singing club, Dancing club, Sports club etc.
Admission
It is the first autonomous college in the Uttar Pradesh region and it provides quality education as its curriculum is designed by keeping in mind the needs of the industries. All the activities and programs like tech-fest, and hackathons are held on a regular basis.
