Infrastructure and College Route Bus services
Administration department is one of the strongest in jamshedpur.
Faculties and their combined way of teaching.

Dislikes

Location could have been better, college is very far from the main city
Uniform is a bit costly considering the quality
Canteen also could have been way better in NSU

Course Curriculum Overview

I was a keen learner of new technology all the time hence I chose this course. Faculties are innumerable and most of them are proficient in their subjects. Exams are very timely conducted and are held in a very professional manner no unfair means are tolerated.

Class Size: 97Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Wipro and others mnc's come and offer up to 35k stiped with Integrated learning programs. Some of the projects include Vm's installation maintenance and Cloud architecture and Devlops as well which are included as projects.

Placement Experience

Internship hiring starts after the 4th semester, students are provided with excellent placement assistance. Lots of companies like Wipro, ceat, TCS, etc. The highest package is 38lakhs P.A, Average package 3.6lakhs P.A, More than 80% of students get placed each academic year from BCA. My own plans are to crack any of the FAANG companies after BCA considering the amount of knowledge we've been given at NSU.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is reasonable considering the competition in Jamshedpur plus they provided buses to almost all the major routes in Jamshedpur that too for free. Scholarship assistance is also being provided on campus as well.

Campus Life

NSUITsociety conducts coding competitions throughout the year. Books are plenty in the campus library. Amenities are top quality so as to increase your learning vigour. Lots of sports activities and extra-curricular activities are conducted but not at the cost of academics. Rotary club of Jamshedpur, NSS, etc.

Admission

The admission process was relatively smooth, college officials will help you every step of the way. You just have to either take the form manually from the office or fill it out online. The application form fee is around 500.

Infrastructre it would be the best .in the govt. College in ranchi

Discipline , college should work on the descipline
Lecture not attended timely so that student faced difficulties on syllabus
Behaviour of teachers towards student somebodies are very good but some teachers egostic or a misbehaving towards student

Likes

A big campus and an ever resonating campus life
Excellent and helpful faculty members with deep knowledge in their subjects
High quality computer labs along with a supercomputer

Dislikes

Hostel food service, quality and hygiene
Slow and stammering WIFI connection which also gets lost sometimes
A little unhygienic and sometimes not well cleaned washrooms

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Likes

Exams are conducted in proper manner no unfair means. And paper is completely related to the syllabus
Syllabus is designed very good. It's a B.Tech level syllabus in BCA so its good that we are very much advanced as compared to other college and university.
Timely semester ends. 6 months syllabus is completed in 4.5 months so its a good point that you are on time.

Dislikes

Campus is very limited. Only college building that too with 15 classroom and only a parking space in the name of campus.
There is no extra co-curricular activities in our campus. Only attend classes from 9 to 5 and go back home that the college life which you get here in bit lalpur.
There is no coed. The biggest disadvantage which I felt. The college life is really boring for us. There is nothing to entertain us. No fun, I feel like a trap being in this campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

Food facilities of canteen and price is also very affordable
Sports section of our college is best because it have almost all indoor and outdoor games
Transport facilities because it have many busses which goes everywhere in ranchi

in bca students get placement from 5th sem and in btech students get placement from 7th sem and companies like tcs, Wipro, Infosys and many more. My plans are to become a software developer after completing my course ..

Likes

The College Study Expenses is quite affordable even for lower middle class student.
The faculties are quite experienced with a exciting way to make students learn.
The college provides various courses on UG or PG level like arts humanities, Sciences, Commerce Computer Applications Business Applications.

Dislikes

The Placement records are not good enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Likes

Campus is nice, good in hygiene terms. A lot of plants and trees are plated in the campus garden. Classes are very nice and air conditioned.
Response of teachers are very nice. They really work hard for the students. They assists us in all fields.
College security and safety guards are very effective.

Dislikes

College is very far from main road. And the college surrounding is not good.
There are useless rules are ment for the students.
Fines are very high and there is no exemption in fine.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Good college good faculty

Remarks:

All the staffs including gatekeeper or cleaning staffs are vert friendly and helpful. Once i entered the college first time i was bit confused about going to principal office but one of the gatekeeper came to me and he shows me thepath very politely. I love my college everything is very good in the college.

Remarks:

University is good in all forms from fresher's to farewell but to some extent it lacks in placement as you have to really work hard if you want to get into a named company. Else it is good in providing knowledge, sorting out the problems and many more.

Life in NSU

I choosed NSU jamshedpur mainly because of its fees structure. I applied for many colleges but non of them were giving me worth as of NSU. NSU provide s free bus to all students and its fees structure is also very good so that will help me save some money and time.
