TINT( Techno International Newtown) College Review

Well I had a drop year and I got this college at first round of counselling so took admission here. Apart from this I had appeared for exams of other colleges as well like Manipal, VIT, SRM but didn't choose them as those are far from home and were much more expensive than my current college. I had also appeared for BITS but couldn't clear their cutoff. In my current college they take direct admission based on wbjee rank, from counselling as well as management quota. The most preferred exam is wbjee and the admission process is very easy and the people in the admission cell are really helpful. I had applied to TMSL , Heritage and NSEC. I got Cse in NSEC and TINT. I choose this college due to its location. Moreover this college is much better presently the nsec and tmsl because of many reasons. Mainly because of its latest naac accreditation with B++ grade. Which is among the bestest in the city among engineering college. In the Techno India group this college comes at 2nd position after tmsl. The environment is much better than other colleges. I applied to a lot of colleges in India including BITS Pilani, symbiosis, ViT, KiT,and many other.. many colleges approved me as i cleared almost 90% of these college exams. But due to some family issues i couldn't leave Kolkata and had to choose this college as it is under makaut( Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University) . It is a board. Techno international Newtown selects students based on WB jee or JEE marks. All India exams. The admission process is easy.. there are different cut off for different streams. Like Computer science engineering cut off is about 80.. like wise IT is 65, ECE 50 . And others below that. The admission has to be done in college itself. 3 campus are there.. techno international Newtown, techno university and techno Main Salt Lake. Techno university and techno Main are located in Salt Lake itself. The admission cut off is different for every college. The admission process is also different for each of them. Fir admission in this College you will have to appear in WBJEE exam ,there is not passing marks in WBJEE ,if you socre around 15 marks , you will easily get admission in this College in my branch and for cse you will have to score around 20-25 I guess. there are 3 seat reserved in each branch for TFWs .WBJEE occurs once in a year...Read More
