Entrance Exam -CET/AIEEE college allows admission in b.tech in management quota.My score was average I have 3000 rank in cet andgot seat in cse. Normally student in general quota got seat in this college with rank less than 8000

Pryass -2014 Tech Fest robotics eventFusion Farewell parties star night aptitude test Dj night and lots of social event .moreover students also get chance to represent their college in other colleges in various events. College have tech it society,programming contest and lots of festival celebration events

Fee Structure And Facilities

3-4 lakh for complete degreecollege faculty take payment in cash. Brother and sister concession is also given to students offers installment facility to poor and hostlers. scholarship also awarded to students during admission buts its one time scholarship.

My friends availed loan,yes you can apply for loan and it will santioned easily.Scholarship is awarded to student having rank less than 1000 in cetStudent can avail brother sister concession(concession in fees if both are in blood relation)

gender ratio :-40:60 in computer science and in rest of the departments girls ratio is less.no racism .no politics and all the students are mostly from middle class .

Exam Structure

In a semester,3 sessional and then final exam.there are total 8 semester .Out of which one is for training of 6 months .Exams are easy,but few subjects are difficult like math1,2,3 and 4.Exams days are little bit hectic and rest of the sem is chilled out.

Faculty

Faculty is very poor, Lack of knowledge .no deep knowledge of subjects. Faculty always do favourism among students, they 40 marks of every subject is in hands of teachers so only there favorite students get high marks

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

Good but jot enough

The admission process was quite easy , I had to visit the college with my 10-12 DMC and some personal identity verification photostat and 7 pictures of mine and the advance after they admit in their college was 10,000 and later when the session begin they took a clear fee of 45000 approx. The reservation benefits were not that much but the seats were ofcourse booked by the students before as they paid before for it. There is nothing like an extrance exam but is a scholarship test conducted on-line for locals to get some ressieson mentioned above. It is a noce easy experience tho....Read More
