What Students Say

Likes

The way they respond to you when you ask for any info
The way faculty teaches you the subject you are in.
Placements were conducted by many MNCs through which many tudents git recruited.

Dislikes

Nothing is there that tbey can improve as it provides all the facilities
No need to dislike,as the management of the college is quite good and responsible .

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members there are quite helpful for students to make them understand the lessons they teach. The student ratio per class is 25-30. All the faculty members of the college are highly experienced.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

As I have told earlier placements were conducted in the college and many of the students got recruited by many MNCs.Even I have got recruited by Sutherland global services, Chennai in 2009. So many students get recruited by many companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was quite affordable for all sections of society. when I was a student there I got recruited by Sutherland global services, Chennai. The package was around 3 Lacs to 4 Lacs

Campus Life

The library was with a good collection of books related to the courses available in the college. Every year sports are conducted and even taken for the inter-college competitions and we used to win many prizes

Admission

The college admission was quite easy to process and even accessible for normal people to join their daughter in the college as the management was quite understanding in their explanation regarding the details of the courses and the college admission.so I am very happy to be a product of Nagarjuna degree college for women Kadapa.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

The placements are not upto the mark, could be better
The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.

Memories of my College

I have applied for pace institute of technology and Sciences in Prakasam District, Ongole. At that time we are financially low and my parents were decided to join me in Sri Nagarjuna Degree College. I didn't get any rejections over other colleges and due to financial situations and issues I chose other colleges. So there was not when wrong by other colleges. Admission process went through our vice principal. I approached him by a known faculty person. He then gave so much information about about the course, college and hostel facilities which were provided by the management. I paid 1500 for the admission fee to the college management. Later I paid through fee reemmbessemnt which provided by state government. I also joined my friends in our college by this process only. They were satisfied by the admission process and management also initiated some fundamental rights to students in the college. Course related faculty also gave some information about the course while getting admission...Read More
