A honest review about Chandigarh University.

I choose this course because I was eagerly accited to learning about programming languages and coding and I had a great interest in coding and making websites and apps but right now they're not teaching languages for development. The faculty-to-student ratio is just perfect I think they should keep the ratio the same. The exam schedule is a little hectic because there are mid sem exams every month which is very hectic.

From the second semester, students become eligible for internships and in the last semester, they become eligible for placements. They are many MNCs that visit the campus like Google and Microsoft, Adobe and Dell etc. And they offer pretty good packages like 40-50 LPA and even higher if it's an international package. The highest package that was offered was 1.8CR to a student which was an international package and the university provides placement to 90% of the students. My plan after getting my degree is to work in an MNC

The fees hike policy is not good for those students who got a scholarship in the first year their scholarship discontinues as they get detained in any subject or get a lower CGPA than 7.5, The scholarship name is CUCET it is really helpful for middle-class students as they get to come in a University by paying fewer fees than other colleges.

The campus life for an engineering student is pathetic because of the workload and the number of assignments we get every day there is a deadline for each worksheet students can't keep up with this and ultimately they don't enjoy their campus life being an engineering student. There is various annual fest at Chandigarh University and very famous celebrity comes to the college due to this we get to see some people who we dream of seeing in real life free of cost. The availability of books in the library is just good because we don't need books everything is available online on our personal dashboards. The University held a sports event recently and which was not good because they are not spreading awareness for registration so only limited students get to know and they take the seats due to which worthy players could not play in events. There are many groups run by students like dancing and singing and acting and sports.

The basic eligibility to take admission in this course is that you should have PCM in your class 12th. And the form is easily available on the Chandigarh University website you just have to register with your email and phone number and some other basic details and then they'll redirect you to their entrance exam page where they'll ask you to give a CUCET scholarship exam for your admission and some scholarship which is provided by the University itself and there is a time period to apply for the scholarship exam if you apply before June and get 90+ in their scholarship exam you're first year fees will be reduced to as low as 0 and later after the month of June its 90% discount on your academic fees.
