Course Curriculum Overview
The course is highly demanding and My interest is genetics and Plant Breeding. There is a faculty-student ratio is 1:20. Faculty Qualification is as per UGC guidelines and their teaching is very effective. Exam on time and medium to pass
Internships Opportunities
VNR seed, Reliance dairy, Reliance store, etc, provide 20000 rs per month. They gave the opportunity to purchase fruits and milk from companies. how to deal with quality products etc They develop leadership quality in the training
Placement Experience
Last semester students are eligible for the placement drive. There are a lot of companies. Banks are coming to campus to offer jobs some are VNR Seeds, Dhanuka pvt ltd, Beyer Crop Science, Krishidhan Seeds etc. For UG students they offer an average of 30000 and for PG students they offer 40000 or 50000 per month
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike as per guideline of GOVT of India. My course completion fee is 100000. There is a scholarship for almost all the students. They also provide opportunities for poor students to earn money by helping during admission, and by helping qualified students with document verification. They also provide jobs in departmental libraries. They also offer JRF, SRF, YP-I & II etc in different projects which are running in the university.
Campus Life
Annual sports week is conducted Interdepartmental sports are also conducted Interuniversity sports is also conducted They also conduct summer sports There is a departmental library in each department and there is a central library (Books are available in lacs) Digital classrooms are there in every department Annual cultural activities organised Annual convocations, seminars, national and international, workshops training, etc are conducted annually. There is a society in the Genetics and Plant Breeding department "Society of Plant Breeder and Seed Technologists"
Admission
There is all India test for PG admission Minimum graduation is required with 55%. Online application forms can be filled out at the university website. They should Increase exam centres because there are only one or two centres in the state.
