Remarks
The college is mainly focussed on placements, so does not do anything related to higher studies. Branch wise, if we see, placement for CS, IT, ECE is good and that for other branches like mechanical and civil in their core field is rare.The only thing which I love about my collage is infrastructure.
Entrance Preview
I gave JEE. I was ranked enough to get admission in such a great college. Option was mine to take computer stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was really good. I have got a lot of knowledge about computer languages like c, c++, Java, .net, DBMS etc. I have also completed project in Java in last year. My spoken English was also improved in college. Basically computer courses were divided in all semesters.
Internships Opportunities
Nope. College does not provide internship. Because it gives opportunity to it's students to take internship in abroad like Taiwan, China.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is as per the guidelines of the government of Odisha. There are no hidden fees.There is no provision of paying fees in installments. But if the person is taking a bank loan for his/her studies then he/she can submit an application to the account section. On the basis of the application the date may be extended till December of the joining year (only for the first year students).
Fees and Financial Aid
There were many scholarship programs going on in the college for the students. They are promoted and encouraged by the faculties many times.
Admission
I applied online for this college. And I got selected based on my rank. There was counselling process for college for which candidate has apply before the JEE result publish. The form was submitted online. Than I took a printout of the form and went for document verification and it was counselling. Than I got admission after few days though I was not happy getting seat in engineering college
Faculty
All the faculty members are cooperative. They are 24*7 available for us to help through their mobile phones. They are able to take a 100 minutes class without any break. All the faculty members are knowledgeable. Some will be memorized for ever for helping in my final year project. So thank you faculties of NIST.
