Remarks

Good thing about my college is teachers are good and helpful to every student and bad thing is that no any placement happen in my college.

Entrance Preview

I gave AIEEE exam but didn't get good score Because i am not good at that time,when i study in 12th i have some serious problem thats why i am not able to score good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose b.tech from electronics and communication engineering because i want to explore myself.this course help me a lot in my entire career. my college was very good at that time and learn a lot my college.I learn everything in theoretically and also in practical.

Internships Opportunities

I got 74.40% overall in my b.tech career but no any company visited in my college.so my college not able to provide any internship to any student.

College Events

In my college various types of events is organised by faculty and students.like freshers party,mata ki choki and also sports events.freshers party held once in a year and it happens when senior student collect funds with their pockets and organised well. Jagrans or mata ki chowki and sports event was funded by management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time fees structure was 1.5 lakh for college and hostel Which is very expensive.70% student studied through loan and scholarship. there are also very strict fine for attendance and library.fees is very expensive so every time problem occurs in exam because college never give permission to take part in exam. So its very painful for many student.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college not offered any scholarship to me because I study my college with my fees only.but many student got scholarship from his state government. College helps them to take that scholarship from there.

Campus Life

I enjoyed my campus life because i have very good friends and also got very good faculty.there are many sports played in my college like cricket,basketball,volleyball.i love my college because it always held various program like fresher party,jagrans,sports event.

Hostel Facilities

I started my b.tech from 2011 and i stayed in hostel.i got room with 2 other boys,everyone has its separate lockers so this is good to save our stuff. hostel was very clean at my time. facility is also good because mess is available in hostel so no food is needed from outside.I stay almost 2 years in hostel then i live in flat which is nearby from college.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes my senior are very good because they help me in every situation. I got my books from my senior and also they teach me about tricks for good marks in my exam.

Exam Structure

my examination is always challenging because i study one night before exam and got very good marks in every single subject.I got good marks because of group discussion. My examination was held on every six month.there are also unit test held in my college. Lab was always boring for me but i attend all my lab because i learn practical knowledge there.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

The only negative thing about the college is about fee submission. If a student fails to submit his fee on time , no extension is granted rather late fee fine is imposed. Also if not paid before exams, the student is barred to sit in the exams....Read More

Management has been Poor in the College Strictly regarding the fees and Exams related things.
