Course Curriculum Overview
CSE in Data science is the newly emerging branch in the industry and is on its boom. The course provides various Data science industry jobs and knowledge about it. A class have an average of 70-75 students and a teacher. All the teachers are highly qualified and good at their own. 3 sessional and then a semester exam is being conducted in a time span of 6 months. The exam level is okay that is not so hard to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees at the time of my admission were 1 lakh 59 thousand as a course fee(Btech Cse) and 1 lakh 15 thousand as a hostel fee(most costly one) range varying from 88 thousand onwards. The fee hike policy was around 5-10% yearly if happens. Government Scholarship is available and the job facility is good. Placement camps and sessions are conducted to provide better opportunities to students.
Campus Life
Annual fests are conducted by various Clubs Available such as KBC and so on. Sports fest coding competitions and other cultural fest are being conducted. Classrooms are provided with smart boards and Rest with projectors to provide education in an effective way. A central Library is available on the College campus that has more than 10k books and can be issued easily. All the classrooms are clean and a security camera is being installed for further monitoring. Sports items can be provided as per need to play various sports
Hostel Facilities
There are several types of rooms available starting from 2 seaters and 3 seaters and 3 seaters with AC. Rooms are big enough (3 seater) and provided with a balcony. Common washrooms are available on all the floors. The attached washroom is available in 2 seater rooms as well. A registration fee of 10k needs to be deposited at the time of registration which is further included in the total fees. The meal is good as compared to other hostels and PG.
Admission
For a Computer Science course(BTech in CSE) core or specialisation you should have a minimum of 70 % in your 10+2 examination. Such as for Cse-Data science you should have 85 above and for the core as well. Some seats are Reserved for the EWS category.
