- the faculty and the staff are decent. the classes are also spacious and nice. the hostels are cheap and get the appropriate services according to the fees they paid for it.
Dislikes
- some classes dont have working ACs. its really difficult to even sit straight in summer.
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is followed as per Ggsipu guidelines. the faculty is nice. courses may have 4-5 sections, with each one having 55-60 students. the examinations are also followed as per ggsipu instructs.
Placement Experience
for campus placements, there are too few of them in the first place. As for the eligibility criteria you have to be in the third year [fifth semester]. companies like infosys come to the college for placements. the highest package that was offered was 25 Lakhs. it's relatively hard to get on-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees are pretty average compared to other colleges for the same course. scholarships are availed through the district portal. there aren't any scholarships provided by the college itself. for scholarships, you can apply for mcm on the district
Campus Life
it's a Ggsipu college, but it's not the main branch so the college rarely hosts any fests on campus. library is pretty decent, it has almost all the books you can need for the course. classrooms are spacious enough for 50-60 students. for sports, there are many you can apply for like basketball, volleyball, football etc. there are many social clubs too, which vary from sports to gaming, singing, drama etc.
Admission
i applied for btech cse through JEE Mains.. cuttoff can be as low as 75-80 percentile for the CSE branch. the admission process was simple. we just had to take the ipu round's form to the college and the other necessary documents for verification.
