Course Curriculum Overview

Our civil engineering department faculty is great. they are highly educated like M.tech, PHD also they have alot of experience in the teaching sector. They give us great knowledge to us. In one semester there are 2 MST(mid-semester tests) these help for your final exam preparation.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Oceanatech, pharmacy, axis bank, Dell, BOSCH related companies visited. and give jobs to students you can do internships learning software for future career options they provide training for 4 weeks, 6 weeks, and 6 months.

Placement Experience

Many companies are coming to the campus for placement opportunities. Highest 51LPA package on this campus Oceana tech, Ambhuja cement, and many department-related companies visited. The main thing is it provides practical knowledge with this replacement got easy

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied in the PMS category ( post metric scholarship) which is for SC or ST or BC students. General fees are like 60000 per semester for B.Tech. And also there are many jobs if you want under campus.

Campus Life

On our campus, they arrange many star nights in which many Punjabi stars or actors come for movie promotions, and shows. Sports and activity cultures are also good, there are cricket, volleyball, judo, football, chess, kabaddi, so many games. The library is so big, there are many books in different fields

Hostel Facilities

I didn't avail hostel because my home is near campus but I hear about the hostel facility. They provide 24h wifi, ac, the meal is also good, cultural events for hostel students like hostel league.. different hostels are separate for boys, girls and faculty

Admission

There is a good experience for all over activities also provide scholarships for students. They also give replacements and internship offers. The sports facility is also here. They provide better practical knowledge as well as a theory.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

Review CT university

I wanted tojoin course related to cyber security and this course is not available in many colleges in punjab. There's only two colleges Chandigarh and CT university at that time. Then i choose ct university. For admission process we need to submit 1st semester fee ,examination fee, uniform fee, prospectus and library fee. We need to fill admission form and attached these documents adhaar card photo copy, 10th or 12th marks certificate(copy), character certificate original, cast certificate, passport size photo, paid fees photo copy with form. Ct university - a combination of everything!

I got confirmed admission from many collages such as cgc , chitkara University, chandigarh University,lpu .
