What Students Say

Likes

campus is very greenly and well maintained.
It is situated in between the city so there is no problem in transportation
Building here are really good for studying

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opt for mining engineering in the hope of branch change because iit bhu is one of the top 10 iits. So, I'm preparing for a branch change. Im in 2nd semester right now. The faculty and teacher are helpful also we have a decent student ratio. There are 2 exams in 1 sem i.e. mindset and end-sem. Both exams are moderately difficult. You can pass them if you study regularly.

Class Size: 127Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You'll get an internship from 2nd tear onwards in core and if you are very good in coding you can earn from 1st year also. The college will provide you with all the facilities. Seniors also help you to get internships some of them also started their own startup.

Placement Experience

4.5

You can get placements in the last year of your course. Also, there are replacements. In my branch, the avg placement is around 2100000 this year. Also, the avg placement if our college is 2600000. 100% of the students will get placement in core and noncore as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were 100000 per sem and hostel fees 6000. Mess charges are 12000. There are several scholarships and fee remission available for students on the basis of family income and category. Also, there are some merit scholarships also.

Campus Life

4.5

We have different fests and Outfest as well. Kashi yatra, fmc weekend, technex, shraddha, aagman, move, e-submit, and many more. There are several sports of all types. Like cricket, badminton, volleyball, football, etc. Also, there are clubs for all the cultural and tech activities.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We have 2 almirahs with a fan and a decent size room. Also, there are water purifiers on every floor. The bathroom is also well-maintained. Our Mess food is good among all the hostels here. I'm currently in the Aryabhatta hostel. Registration for a hostel is done at the time of registration for the course.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

First, you have to clear jee mains and advanced. Got a decent rank for general as the general cutoff is high if you are a category student try do get an angry rank you will get an iit easily. Application form and date will be announced on the official website off jee. Application fees for Jee mains was 650 and for jee advanced 2800

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it.
