Remarks
I did not like it because it was an all-women college. The teachers are fine and the students are comprehensible. The canteen is the best part of the college. There is a huge ground behind the canteen where the events are held. The college has a fountain

College entrance test given by MOP Vaishnav College. Had heard that it was reputed for the course in Journalism.
Internships Opportunities
I did not receive any stipend. The internship was to be personally sought and not through college. The experiences were good as we got learn many things, especially about how a newspaper or a broadcast organisation works on a daily basis. We also got to go cover varied events.
Placement Experience
I had not sat for the placements as I was looking to do further studies. I did my post graduation in print journalism from Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, Bangalore. As far as I know, placements were okay, with around 7-10 industries coming to give in tests. Packages began from 18.5k.
College Events
There were inter-collegiate and intra-college cultural festivals that were held at my college and each of the three years saw a lot of participation from many groups. Besides, I also attended events like dance competitions and won laurels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For regular, Indian students, the fee structure is normal. However, for the non resident Indian students, the fees are exorbitant. It is almost three times the regular fees that are being paid for Indians.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any loan or scholarship facilities. I have no idea about any such related either. The college website might offer better information regarding the same.
Campus Life
Everything in the college was good except for the fact that it was an all-women college. Unless it was a inter collegiate cultural, men are not allowed. It will create a sad atmosphere.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facilities for anyone except for those who are in sports quota. The mess food is extremely delicious and was chef fed by Malayalis, who cooked everything at the canteen itself.
Alumni/Alumna
Again, I am not a part of the alumni because I do not like such events. They meet once a year, mostly during Nov-December time and hold small parties and a few debates.
Exam Structure
The exams were very phased-out. There was atleast a day's gap between two exams and the routine was simple enough. There was not much of pressure on the students. However, Tamil exam is compulsory for any student who is a student of this college. Without
Faculty
The faculty are a mix of both young and experienced people from the industry. My head was from the Deccan Chronicle, A veteran editor. The other faculty members were also from similar backgrounds.
