Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are good in nature and friendly to us. I've chosen the course because I have an interest in the IT sector and I wanted to develop my skills in the IT field. The faculties are well qualified and have average knowledge of their respective fields. The term exams are held after every 6 months. Exams are not difficult to qualify for.

Internships Opportunities

If the students have good marks in their semester exams then he/she can easily apply for internships. Our college gives an opportunity of an internship. It's not sure whether the stipend is given to interns or not but it depends on the company. Companies like PHN, Infocom, etc provides internship.

Placement Experience

From the 4-5 semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies like WIPRO, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPGEMINI etc visit our college to hire students. Eligible and talented students easily crack the placement. The highest package offered in BCA is around 4lakhs. Almost 80% of students get placed every year. The average package is 2-3 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the batches 2023-2026 are increased. But the fee structure is normal are regular colleges. The fee is not much high. The facilities provided there are fee worthy. It is a budget-friendly college. But fines are quite high. Students can avail Jharkhand govt. scholarship if he/she is eligible. The fee for the batch 2022-2025 is 180000.

Campus Life

Not many fests but some of the fests holds like Android development, food fest, Xplore, and many more. The library is large enough and books are easily available. Classrooms are highly equipped with projectors, computers, mics, AC, etc. The benches are very comfortable. NCC and Rotract clubs are there.

Admission

The admission process is very easy and relevant. Any student can choose from BCA. One can easily find the application form on the college website and apply for the same. Jharkhand scholarships are available. Students can visit the city office at Jamshedpur for admission and further details.

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Good college good faculty

Remarks:

All the staffs including gatekeeper or cleaning staffs are vert friendly and helpful. Once i entered the college first time i was bit confused about going to principal office but one of the gatekeeper came to me and he shows me thepath very politely. I love my college everything is very good in the college.

Remarks:

University is good in all forms from fresher's to farewell but to some extent it lacks in placement as you have to really work hard if you want to get into a named company. Else it is good in providing knowledge, sorting out the problems and many more.

Life in NSU

I choosed NSU jamshedpur mainly because of its fees structure. I applied for many colleges but non of them were giving me worth as of NSU. NSU provide s free bus to all students and its fees structure is also very good so that will help me save some money and time.
