Course Curriculum Overview

I choose to go with computer science and engineering because of my interest in coding, and software knowledge. There were 30 faculty belonging to our department, everyone is very supportive and punctual and highly talented. Most of the facilities are PhD holders. And some are normal teaching professors. Every 6 month, there was 2 internals, which was mid-term difficult, but if we studied well then it was easier to pass the exam

Internships Opportunities

Infosys offer a good stipend worth 15000 Others are also quite good A project like app development Hacking skills Technical tools use Types of language learning Work with professional Certification And friendly working environment

From 5th sem, students are eligible for campus There were startups and we'll know company who visited fir hiring purpose The highest package is 7.8LPA Average package is 4.2LPA The minimum package is 1.5LPA 70% of students get placement I would go for higher studies abroad after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Without a hostel, it's 95000 per yr. For normal students. some categories have scholarships. Beacuse I am belonging to the general category I didn't get any scholarship facilities. A job that got from campus is 4.7LPA data analytics.

Festronix held on February We can find all types of technology-related books. And journals including business categories books. Is environment-friendly classrooms Extracurricular activities are many more 1- Dance 2- Song 3- instrumental 4- painting 5- Indore games 6- outdoor games There NSS programme is run by students for needy people.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel room bed, study table, washroom, and balcony. With good air ventilation. Meal quality is quite good for nonveg. But veg is not that much satisfied for non-vegetarian students, we can get non-veg and veg both in regular basis. During the admission process there should be an additional form for a hostel, we need to pay half the amount to get a room in the hostel For outer stay. There were a lot of places for rent and pg, for bachelors.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Candidates should score a good result in jee/ojee entrance Through the college website, a candidate can get all the information Reservation benefits are available, for the categorised candidate only. The long-term waiting list should be resolved. Otherwise, all the facilities are purely environmentally friendly.

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I applied in SOA and Trident Academy because of the high course fee ,i didn't do the addmission. Gift is Autonomous college and my elder brother preferred me this college and the fee is affordable. No I don't scored good in JEE so I clearly admitted in GIFT. Students must be attended JEE,OJEE exam or others engineering exams and there is no certaint cutoff for the course.
