college is very good. seniors are also very cooperative, no chance of any ragging. my experience in the campus is amazing.

i wrote jee mains. my friends are studying in this college. no there is no interview process. i choose mechanical engineering because it can gives a job in every sector like software and construction.

no its not true ,labs are useful we are learning by doing experiment and exams are necessary to test our mind

faculty have degree like btech mtech and some have graduation degree in particular subjects. . they are very interactive they always motivate us and regarding studies they are more serious if we have any doubt we can ask anytime anywhere. standard of teaching is good but can be improved bcoz lack of experienced teacher.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
