- Classes don't has AC. so in summer it get really hot.
- New Campus is small as compare to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because that was what I got after counseling. The faculty-student ratio is not that good but the teachers are nice and helpful. Most teachers for the first B.Tech are one with master's and few are Ph.D. holders as well. The teaching method is quite as nice as we have 3 sessional and one end sem exam in every semester. Exams are mostly on time.
Internships Opportunities
I am not sure about the companies that offer stipends but there are some. In my opinion, one should try off-campus as they offer a nice stipend and experience as well. Many students get their internships through coding contests or hackathons.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Around 300 companies visit campus and 1700 placement (acc. to college data). The highest package was 50 LPA (off campus) 10.8 LPA (on campus) and the average package is 5.5-6.5 LPA. Around 94% of B.Tech students get placed. I am planning to go for off-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college increased fees to around 20k this year. It is 174.6k per year now for the first year and 150.7k per year for the rest of the 3 years. You can get a 5% off if you submit fees for a whole year in a single payment. You can get a state scholarship or an FW seat that has low fees as compared to the normal ones.
Campus Life
We have some cultural fest but we have many technical fests. The library is big and has many books in it. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards. The college has many sports grounds and an innovation center as well. There are many clubs and societies in our college that are run by college students.
Admission
I got my admission through JEE but one can also get admission by management Kota i.e. on the basis of your 12th marks (for CSE(CORE): 87-90%) Eligibility of the course: Anyone who has given JEE or completed the 12th class can get admission. You can find the application form at the reception of the college. Fees for the first year are 174600 and 150750 from next year. You can get the home state quota and OBC or SC /ST quota only if you have given JEE mains exam. I think that fees are quite high but as compared to other colleges it has a better academic structure.
Other Applied Colleges
Sharda University - [SU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
