If you exclude the rude and arrogant behavoiur of some senior stuff and the management evrything else is just great

Entrance Preview

I got admission through kerala engineering and medical entrance examination (KEAM) and got selected in one of the alloment rounds. College or location was not a barrier to pursue my degree.I always wanted to study in kerala.

Course Curriculum Overview

A total of 8 smesters with 1st 2 semesters combined together with 11 subjects including labs. 3-6 semesters with 5 subjects and 2 labs. Final 2 semesters with elective subjects and mini and major projects

Internships Opportunities

Keltron, bsnl. Mostly offered stipends ranging from 6000 to 15000.Apart from that super other companies like KSEB and titanium are providing free apprentice training.

Placement Experience

2014-70+, Infosys, South Indian Bank, Nest, Qburst. UST global and many other reputed companies came to our college in search of good engineers

College day, arts day, sports day , union day. Tech fest are the important events celebrated every year. Apart from that onam, Christmas celebration etc

College is directly affiliated to kerala government and run by CAPE. 25000 for general quota, 65000 for managements quota. 100000-300000 for NRI quota

Fees and Financial Aid

Various banks are providing education loans to pursue engineering degree. I didn't take loan to complete my degree so i don't know much about it.

My college is located in a village part of kerala where there are lots of limitations to enjoy college life. So we have to do everything within our college boundary.

Hostel Facilities

There is no affiliated hostel for my college so you have to look for other accommodation near college.

All of them are vey happy to be a part of college of engineering perumon and they do great things to raise the standard of my college to greater heights which is great to know.

Exam Structure

CUSAT exam structure is somewhat difficult to understand. Only way is to refer previous year questions as it is bery useful when you don't have enough time left to prepare for exams.

Faculty

The faculty manged everything with extreme professionalism but the lack of experience always created issues. But then they tried thier level best to keep everything under control and ensured that nothing went wrong.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities
provide internet facilities like wifi and average classrooms

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

My college is pretty amazing especially the environment and the beauty of it is on a different level i find it very adaptable for any student from any background moreover there are many extracurricular activities that you can participate and be part of. There is an entrance exam conducted by the central college for admission on merit. The eligibility for this entrance exam is +2 or equivalent. The application after the exam is submitted online or else you can complete it through government Engineering colleges.
