Chandigarh University an overview

I have opted for this course because of its ongoing demand and the rising market for engineers out there. The faculty here is quite average and some faculty might be good but others are average mostly the faculty here has done post-grad. The exams here are quite frequent like after 1 month of mid-term then 2nd mid term then the final.

In my University almost 90 percent of student gets placed and the average placement is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Deloitte, google, and Microsoft, and also companies like Accenture and Disney come here. If you are having good skills then you can get easily placed in the companies. You just need to stand out from the crowd.

In this university, students get eligible for placements after they take a certain program called tpp without which students are not allowed to enter into placements drive highest packages have reached 50 lakh as of what I have heard right now and almost everyone gets placed here.

The fee structure here is 106000 and some scholarships are also given on the basis of class 12th percentage and also cucet marks but for it, you have to maintain a 7.5 cgpa here. The fees get hiked every year. Currently, I have gotten no job as I am in the 3rd semester.

Campus Life is very enjoyable and fun too. but there are restrictions for students here especially for girls .there are many fests that occur many times every month the library here also has many books and every academic building has its own library. Sports and extra curricular activities are also promoted here as many sports activities and tournaments are been conducted here. There are also many clubs like dance, tech, ai, robotics, etc which can help you to increase your knowledge and help you grow.

Getting admission to the university is quite easy here you only have to give cucet only and the cucet mostly consists of the 12th syllabus. But it is also a formality you can get admission on the basis of 12th percentage.
