I liked the different kinds of exposure that the provide to the students whether it is about international conferences or study experience or either I say different ways and different things that they provide us to study.
I really like the cultural exposer that the university provides us the organising the cultural fests and events at a great level we have Tashan nights and many co-curricular activities like sports and dance singing it to grow and learnt different th
I really like the sports events that are being organised in the university for every sport.

Dislikes

The overall management is need to be improved and taken care of.
The student to teacher communication is taken to higher authorities even on very small points and the students are threatened to be suspended from University.
The placement program that they run must need to be improved and students must be given the right to go to their homes atleast in holidays after exams but what they do is they organise camps at that time and make it compulsion and absentees are fine

The mid-term exams are taken about every 30 to 40 days and they are not that difficult to pass, all you need is to study for a week before exams with sure concentration and rest depending on the ability of different students.

Internships Opportunities

Nokia - full stack developer (25k stipend for internships) after that placement offers of 7.5 LPA in Banglore. PlaySimple - Business Analyst and developer (40k and 35k respectively) after that placement offers of 14 LPA. Ultradeep Solutions - Developer (25k stipend for internship) after that placement offer of 9LPA in Mohali, Punjab.

Placement Experience

The main reason I personally opted for this college is the placement that they provide and the great placement records that they maintain. A Student can become eligible for placements from the end of the 5th semester as at that time companies start coming into the college for placement drives, and campus drives either for internships (virtual or physical ) or placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a scholarship of 15% based on a scholarship test that I gave named CUCET. Our college takes this exam in different phases and has a different level of scholarship in each phase. To keep this scholarship continue the student has to manage a CGPA of 7.5 at least.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the university like IEEE, CSI, and ALEXA.CU, etc. These clubs are managed by the students along with the help and guidance of the faculty members and faculty coordinators. The students are given different roles and positions in the clubs based on their skill sets and hard work.

Admission

The improvement I want to see is they must at least a basic-level test for admission. right now what they are doing is they are giving admission to everyone. At least they can take a basic test or set criteria for admission on the basis of percentage in the 10th and 12th boards.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document.
