Remarks

this college gave me more than what i ever asked for, friends who became family, teachers who came the guiding lights, pune that became home and a profession that became life.

Entrance Preview

i gave the MHCET (Maharashtra common entrance test) through which i got DYPCOA through the cap rounds. Well i was always fascinated by buildings and the engineering that in making them and i did not want to take up the conventional route to engineering hence architecture as i also had a creative bend.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course was very defined with all the elements placed according to the semesters and years accordingly. There was a lot of focus on practical learning through site visits, study tours, architectural appreciation visits. There was a research conference held every year by the college a an annual event with people presenting there research papers on various topics. There were a whole lot of elevtives available to choose from (technical/design electives)

Internships Opportunities

we had a compulsory internship in the 9th sem for 6 months which was to be found by our own although the college did provide us with references.

Placement Experience

2.5

we did have a placement cell who gave references but there is no architecture college in India that provides placements to the students.

College Events

5

we had an annual model making competition called builtech, annual sports week, annual cultural week called revive, annual international conference and a whole lot of other events

Fee Structure And Facilities

it was affordable as compared to other architecture colleges and the infrastructure provided by the college. the annual fees ranged brom 70-85k per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

the scholarships were provided to the EWS students.

Hostel Facilities

4

i resided in the hostel and i must admit it was amazing than most of the hostels i have ever seen. the rooms were spacious with attached washrooms/toilets, the wardens were lovely and the est part there were no in-timings.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a strong alumini network with the tagline"all for one,one for all" and even a whatsapp group with all the atched who have passed out till now to remain connected and be of help to the coming students.

Exam Structure

no we had a semester pattern for the exams and it neither was a chilled out culture nor a hectic one just the right mix of both.

Faculty

4

the staff was well qualified and very well versed with new trends in the market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching for architecture is for 5 years divided into 10 semester. There is very deep knowledge given in this 5 year Technical and hands on experience is given to students so that they will be good future architect. I think that we should shift more to softwares rather than sheets. Exams are after every 5 months so thats easy to prepare and learn.

It is really an honour to be a student of this esteemed Academic organisation. Although it is not at the top of the ladder yet, but soon with great faculties and great students , we will surely reach the highest positions of Indian colleges. It is one if the best choices of colleges for to-be Architecturers.

College is an institution for learning and yes it does pretty well in those terms. Faculties can get a little edgey if you are not on their good books. Submissions are expected on time irrespective if there is quality work or not.you get marked pretty well if you stay interactive and regular to college. You can manage to get around 60% marks by just attanding lectures and trying to get the submission on time. If you put your self in the submission getting an 80% wont be difficult.
