All Indian IT majors recruit SASTRA students atleast there will be one job offer in everyone's hand rockwell collins and Bosch are the only core companies for ECE students. Microsoft visits the campus but offers role in ITIS support they dont recruit for software developer role there are ample of opportunities for CSE and Mech students.

Tech featival DAKSH is second biggest in south india after IIT Madrad SHASTRA there will be a floating crowd of 6 to 7 thousand for the tech KURUKSHASTRA is the college cultural fest and it is damn good.

Students can relax by attending to telugu, hindi, tamil and english clubs after college hours. There is an active club for every branch dean of planning Vaidi sir encourages every one to participate in clubs of their interest there is no bias with resoect to gender, ethnicity, race and religion.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees are moderate it depends on the hostel and the room you opt for to stay non veg is not allowed inside hostels mess food is not great but not worst two sharing 4sharing and single sharing option is available.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors helped me to learn new things they are very helpful lot better can be done when it comes to alumni network every year alumni meet is organaised at chennai. Many alumni meets were organaised by vaidi sir across europe and USA.

I would rate the curriculum 4/5. It is relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering core concepts, practical sessions, projects, and industry-oriented topics. However, more hands-on training and updated industry technologies could make it even better.

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
