Likes

The college has excellent faculties which are very helpful and share their experiences for interview
The college provides a world class infrastructure in ranchi (best among private)
The college has direct admission which allows all the students to take admission

Dislikes

Teachers are below average. They teaches only theories
They have written to give wifi but they haven't given the wifi yet and changed the password
The college is greed for money as they ask for money and they don't have a better bus facility in practical exam

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA is a 3-year UG course. I choose BCA as due to some financial problems, I am not able to take B-tech. The college has a good number of teachers with there is at least 1 teacher per 10 students. The teacher is qualified with Ph.D. grades and they teach using slides and presentations which is good. Exams are easy if you practice all the questions taught, you can easily get an 8 cgpa.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 235000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is a major concern. The fee is hiked per year by up to 50k. The total cost of BCA at SBU is 2,35,000. The college has an internal scholarship for the first two semesters (based on 12th percentage and other criteria) up to 25% and for others, it is based on your academics. E-kalyan scholarship is available. I am in 2nd year and I haven't yet placed.

Campus Life

There is no annual fest conducted till now in 2nd year. The college organizes some traditional events in which they invite only the dean and teachers, not any students. This college is very bad at events. The library is located in the academic block. Classrooms are small but well equipped. The college also organizes sports tournaments every year in order to promote sports.

Admission

The admission process is smooth. You just have to visit the college and fill out the form which is available in both online as well as offline mode (costs 1k). After filling out the form, you will receive an offer letter from the college, thereafter college ask you for document verification and submission of fee. This year, the admission is direct (you just have to pass out 12th) from next year, the college is applying cuet.

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Good college good faculty

Remarks:

All the staffs including gatekeeper or cleaning staffs are vert friendly and helpful. Once i entered the college first time i was bit confused about going to principal office but one of the gatekeeper came to me and he shows me thepath very politely. I love my college everything is very good in the college.

Remarks:

University is good in all forms from fresher's to farewell but to some extent it lacks in placement as you have to really work hard if you want to get into a named company. Else it is good in providing knowledge, sorting out the problems and many more.
